About Allen Bertke

I am a licensed real estate broker who has been involved in the real estate field since 1976.  Servicing all of Nevada County, including Grass Valley, Nevada City, Penn Valley, Rough and Ready, Lake Wildwood, Alta Sierra and more.   We additionally have reciprocal agreements with over 50 MLS Boards in California.  The Flat Fee Real Estate Listings Program was developed in 1988, and has become a rousing success, with over 1,400 homes sold to date.  

Additional credentials include 12 years as a Vice President in the Savings and Loan industry, with substantial experience in loan underwriting, appraisal and escrow work, as well as three years of concurrent experience in income tax preparation.

I have also personally bought and sold numerous homes in California as an investor, giving me first-hand experience and knowledge of the emotional demands and the skills needed to successfully sell homes.
